    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p&gt;X-Ray Satellite spectra arising in 2p core level of heavy transition metal dihalides are calculated using plasmon theory. The energy separation and relative intensity attributes to the surface plasmon excitation and agreed well with the experimental data observed by D.C.Frost and M.Okusawa. The importance of surface plasmon oscillation is verified in satellites of heavy transition metal dihalides by comparison of experimental spectra.&lt;br /&gt;&#xD;
