College, Gyanpur, Bhadohi - 221304 (INDIA) <p style="text-align: justify;">Some solid and air stable complexes of 4-amino-3-substituted-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole with Zirconium (iv) ions have been prepared in acidic, basic and neutral media and characterized using various physico-chemical methods. The ligand is coordinated to metal ion through thione sulphur as indicated from ir spectra.
