<p style="text-align: justify;">We have studied the alkali halides doped with polar impurities theoretically with the help of generalized &lt;n10&gt; tunneling model with electric field applied along &lt;100&gt; direction. The expression for polarization and contribution to dielectric constant is obtained. The results are compared with &lt;100&gt; tunneling system.<br />
