    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p&gt;Environmental exposure to man-made electromagnetic fields has been steadily increasing as growing electrical demand; ever-advancing technologies and changes in social behaviors have created more and more artificial sources. This article attempts to present the rationales of devices, which produce electromagnetic radiation and explain the health hazards of electromagnetic radiation exposure. We also present some preventive measures that can reduce the risk of these hazards.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
