Cascading of Modified Darlington Pair Amplifier

Darlington pair amplifier in CC/CE configuration is a useful circuit for small-signal amplification. First time we have proposed a two-stage modified Darlington pair amplifier that produces simultaneously enhanced voltage gain and band-width. Qualitative results of proposed amplifier are compared with two-stage conventional Darlington pair amplifier. The explored amplifier circuit can be used for amplification of weak signals ranging below 1mV and can be proved useful for various communication applications
