Abstract:

.An analysis is carried out to study Natural convection heat and mass transfer flow over an inclined plate in porous medium. The fluid is assumed to be viscous incompressible and chemically reactive. Numerical calculations are carried out for different values of dimensionless parameters and an analysis of the results obtained shows that the flow field is influenced appreciably by the Prandtl number, Schmidt number, chemical reaction parameter, permeability parameter and angle of inclination. The governing boundary layer equations and boundary conditions are simplified by using similarity transformations. The governing equations are solved numerically by using BVP4C method. Numerical results for velocity temperature and concentration are shown graphically.
