Abstract:

Bianchi type IX bulk viscous cosmological model with barotropic equation of state and dark energy is investigated with the consideration of condition     0 , where  and  are the rest energy density and the tension density of a string cloud respectively. For obtaining deterministic model of the universe we assume that  (shear) is proportional to  (expansion) which leads to m B = Am , where m is a constant, A and B are metric potentials. The physical and geometrical properties of the model are also discussed.
