Abstract:

Radiation effect on mixed convection along a vertical plate with uniform surface temperature was studied by Hossain, M. A. and Takhar, H. S.1. Soundalgekar, V. M. and Takhar, H. S. considered semi-infinite vertical plate and studied the Radiation effects on free convection flow2. Similar problems were also studied by other researchers3,12. Our aim is to study radiation effects on impulsively started infinite vertical porous plate in the presence of variable temperature. The temperature of plate is made to rise linearly with time. The fluid of our flow model is considered as gray, absorbing-emitting radiation but non- scattering medium.
